MBBS and BDS seats in MDCAT test 2024 in Pakistan

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced MBBS & BDS seats in Pakistan after mdcat registration 2024.PMDC disclose all the open merits seats for MBBS & BDS in all four provinces including GB & Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Total Number of Students for MDCAT Registration 2024:

Total167,077 candidates will appear in the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT). To become eligible for 17,615 seats of MBBS and 3837 seats of BDS across the country.

22-september-2024

The test will be held on Sept 22 at 30 venues across the country and two international centers (Dubai and Riyadh) at the same time.

Provinces wise Distribution:

In Punjab (University of Health Sciences, Lahore), in Sindh (Dow University of Health Sciences, University of Karachi), in Balochistan (Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, Quetta), in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Khyber Medical University, Peshawar), in Islamabad (Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad), in Gilgit-Baltistan (Karakoram International University, GB) and in AJK (Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University) will supervise the MDCAT.

Shaheed Zulfiqar AliBhuttoMedicalUniversity has been made responsible to hold test at international venues.

Documents further show that in Punjab there are 9,605 seats of MBBS and 1,874 BDS seats.

In Sindh, there are 4,310 MBBS and 1,240 BDS seats. In KP, there are 2,635 MBBS and 669 BDS seats, and in Balochistan, there are 635 MBBS and 54 BDS seats.

Since the AJK lacks dental colleges, there are only 430 MBBS seats.

The MDCAT will be held under the provision of PMDC Act, 2022.

In Punjab, centers will be established in Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha and Sialkot.

In Sindh, centres will be established in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sukkur.

In KP, centres will be established in Abbottabad, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Lower Dir, Malakand, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi and Swat.

In Balochistan, centres will be established in Quetta in which 5707 candidates will appear.
