Programs Offered

Admissions are open at the Main Campus (Kachery Road, Lahore) and the New Campus (Kala Shah Kaku – KSK).

Assessment and Eligibility Criteria

BS Programs

• GCU Assessment Criteria: A minimum of 50% passing marks requires in the relevant assessment for eligibility.
• Weightage: The test format will be available on the GCU website and social media.
• Merit Formula (Approximate):
  • Matric/O-Level/Equivalent: 40%
  • Intermediate/D.A.E/A-Level Marks: 45%
  • GCU Entrance Test/Assessment: 15%
• Important Notes on Eligibility:
  • A general eligibility of 50% marks in the Intermediate/DAE/Equivalent is mandatory.
  • Candidates who have passed Intermediate/DAE/Equivalent are eligible to apply, but BS Computer Science requires HSSC/A-Level/Equivalent in pre-engineering or ICS.
  • Applicants must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the GCU Entrance Test/Assessment.
  • Applicants must check the GCU website for detailed eligibility.

MS/MPhil & PhD Programs

• GCU-GAT/NTS Test: For MS/MPhil, candidates must qualify the GCU-GAT with a minimum of 60% marks. The test is scheduled to be held on 14-12-2025.
• PhD Candidates: Candidates are required to pass the NTS-GAT Subject with an overall score of at least 60%.
• Detailed eligibility criteria are available on the GCU University Website and are determined by the respective departments.

How to Apply

1. Online Application: Apply online at www.gcuonline.pk and generate the Challan form.
2. Fee: The non-refundable processing fee is Rs. 1000/- for each BS Program and Rs. 1500/- for MS/MPhil/PhD Program application.
3. Submission: The fee may be deposited in any branch of UBL across Pakistan.
4. Documents: The hard copy/printout of the admission form along with the required documents and an attested copy of the fee challan (University Copy) must be uploaded on the Online Portal.
5. No separate SMS/Email will be sent for any intimation.
