Eligibility Criteria
UCHS Lahore has divided eligibility into three categories: Open Merit, Self-Finance, and Foreign/International Seats.
A. OPEN MERIT (Punjab Domicile)
Applicants must have:
- Matriculation or equivalent with minimum 60% marks
- FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 60% marks
- Must possess Punjab domicile
B. AJK/GB/FATA/Other Provinces Quota
Requirements include:
- Matric with minimum 60%
- FSc (Pre-Medical) with minimum 60%
- Domicile of AJK, GB, FATA, or other provinces of Pakistan
C. Disabled Quota (Persons with Special Ability)
- Same eligibility as open merit
- Valid disability certificate issued by a Government Rehabilitation Council or NADRA special person registration
- Applicant can only apply against disabled seats, not open merit
D. SELF FINANCE CATEGORY
Self-financed seats are for students who can fund their own education and may not secure admission through open merit.
Eligibility:
- Matric with 60% marks
- FSc (Pre-Medical) with 60% marks
- Higher fee structure applies
- Merit for self-finance is calculated separately
- Students admitted on self-finance cannot transfer to open merit later
E. FOREIGN / INTERNATIONAL SEATS

- Overseas Pakistanis

- Priority 1: Students who completed 12th grade abroad but equivalent to FSc (Pre-Medical).
- Priority 2: Pakistani citizens completing equivalent exams abroad recognized by IBCC.
- If no eligible candidate is available, the foreign seat may convert to self-finance.
Foreign students pay the foreign student fee regardless of later residency changes.
Merit Calculation Formula
UCHS uses a transparent merit system:
