King Edward Medical University, one of the most prestigious institutions in Pakistan, is pleased to announce admissions for the 5-year Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) program for the session 2025-2029. Aspiring candidates passionate about healthcare and rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for admission:

1. Educational Background:
   • Minimum 60% marks in Matriculation or equivalent.
   • Minimum 65% marks in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent qualification with at least three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics).
   • A-Level students must secure an IBCC equivalence certificate confirming at least 65% aggregate marks.
2. MDCAT Requirement:
   • Candidates must present a valid MDCAT 2024 result. Previous MDCAT results will not be accepted.
3. Domicile:
   • Only candidates holding a Punjab domicile are eligible.
   • Reserved merit-based seats are available for candidates from AJK, Baluchistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
4. Aggregate Formula:
   • Matriculation: 10%
   • F.Sc (Pre-Medical): 45%
   • MDCAT: 45%

Admission Procedure

To apply for the DPT program:

1. Collect the admission form from the School of Physiotherapy, Mayo Hospital/KEMU, Lahore, or download it from the official website: www.kemu.edu.pk.
2. Submit two sets of completed application forms along with required documents.
3. Deposit the admission processing fee (PKR 300) at Allied Bank, KEMU/Mayo Hospital Branch, Lahore. A pay order in favor of the Vice-Chancellor, KEMU, is also acceptable.
4. Ensure all forms are complete with supporting documents before submission.
