Eligibility Criteria
Prescribed Qualification/Experience:
Candidates must fulfill any of the following qualifications:
- M.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification with at least four years of experience as:
- Nursing Instructor
- Deputy Nursing Superintendent
- Clinical Instructor
- Or at least 15 years of experience as Charge Nurse or above.
- B.Sc. Nursing Post Registered Nurse with at least six years of practical experience as:
- Nursing Instructor
- Deputy Nursing Superintendent
- Clinical Instructor.
- B.Sc. Nursing Generic and one-year specialized diploma in any discipline (preferably Nursing Education) with six years of practical experience as:
- Nursing Instructor
- Deputy Nursing Superintendent
- Clinical Instructor.
- Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with:
- Diploma in Nursing Management or Ward Administration.
- Diploma in Nursing Education or Teaching Administration with at least three years of practical experience as:
- Nursing Instructor
- Deputy Nursing Superintendent
- Clinical Instructor.
- Valid registration from the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) is mandatory.
Note: Preference will be given to practical experience from any Government Health Institution.
Age and Gender
- Age: 25 to 45 years (+8 years general age relaxation for females).
- Gender: Female & Transgender.
- Domicile: Punjab (on an open merit basis).
- Place of Posting: Various teaching hospitals in Punjab.
Selection Process
Written Examination/Test:
- One paper, MCQ-based written test.
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Syllabus: 100% qualification-related questions.
Important Notes for Applicants
- PNC Registration:
- Candidates who applied for their PNC registration on or before the closing date but have not yet received their cards will be provisionally eligible, provided documentary evidence is submitted.
- Private Experience:
- Experience in private hospitals will be accepted if the hospital is registered with the Punjab Healthcare Commission, PMC/PMDC, or another regulatory authority.
