ENTRY TEST CRITERIA: Punjab University Lahore

For BS 1st Semester, the candidates will be given 25% weightage of PU Admission Test result, Except for Indergraduate Engineering Programs where the Weightage will be 33%.

Admission Regulations for Undergraduate Programs:

1. Applicants age must not be more than 24 years of age on the closing date fixed for the online form submission.
   However, there is no age limit for Self Supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs.
2. FA / F.Sc. or equivalent.

5. The admission to BS (1st Semester) or equivalent programs will be made provisionally on the basis of the result of the
   Intermediate (Part-I) Examination-2023 or Equivalent for candidates who have appeared in the final examination of
   Intermediate Part –II (2024) or Equivalent and are waiting for their results.
    The provisional admission of BS 1st Semester will be made on the basis of the result of the Intermediate Part-I. The
   admission shall, however, be provisional, subject to the required passing marks of the candidate in Intermediate (PartII) Examination-2024. In case of failure in the 2024 (Part-II) examination, the provisional admission made in 1st
   Semester shall automatically be cancelled.
    After provisional admission and depositing fee or dues in the University account, the students shall be required to
   submit their Intermediate or Equivalent Part-II (pass) result card 2024 within the stipulated time period in the relevant
   Departments.
   Admission Regulations for Undergraduate Programs of Engineering Disciplines (Chemical
   Engineering, Energy Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering
   & Management, Electrical Engineering):
6. Applicants age must not be more than 24 years on the closing date of the online form submission.
7. F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) / DAE / ICS / A-Level or equivalent with at least 60% Marks.
8. Must have appeared in any of the test, (E-CAT by UET Lahore or PU-E or PU-CSP or Entry Test by NUST for
   Engineering) in accordance with Pakistan Engineering Council Regulations.

   Admission Regulations for BS (5th Semester) or Equivalent Program:
10. Applicant’s age must not be more than 26 years on the closing date of the online form submission. There is no age
    limit for Self Supporting, Replica, Afternoon & Evening programs.
11. BA / B.Sc./Associate Degree (Science/Arts/Commerce) or equivalent.
