Eligibility Criteria of Age has changed by PMC for NMDCAT 2022
Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has now removed the age restriction for MDCAT 2022. Students under the age of 16 years are now eligible to apply for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT 2022) conducted by PMC. Prior to this, minimum 16 years age limit was set as eligibility criteria for MDCAT.
It is interesting that this year, there is no eligibility criterion for MDCAT 2022. Any student from any background or marks can appear in MDCAT 2022. PMC National MDCAT 2022 shall be conducted from 7th September to 30th September in 20 cities across Pakistan. Already over 130 thousand students have registered for MDCAT 2022. Students will be able to register online at the PMC website.
As per last year, students will be allowed to select a suitable time slot and test center for themselves which will be confirmed by PMC in due time. Passing National MDCAT with a minimum of 65% marks is mandatory for applying to any Government or Private Medical College in the country. While the pass percentage for Dental colleges admissions is 55%.
